I love my two cats but I hate the kitty litter that is trailing all over my house. It's just gross. I've looked through several rugs of varying quality over the years - one of my cats has scratches so I've been through a few. From the moment I received this rug I could tell that it was of the finest quality. The blanket is the perfect size, thick and soft on my cat's paws. The bottom also has some traction to keep it in place. But true to its name, it really takes over the litter box. The scraper is also a kicker and this rug catches all the debris really well. There seems to be a good balance between the mesh and the grooves between the meshes - this is where debris is caught. I only use a small vacuum cleaner about once a week and it does a great job. In addition, the Gorilla Grip company that makes this mat really cares about their customers and offers a 10-year guarantee. I emailed them to find out what their warranty policy was if my scratching cat ruined this rug (since it said "No Questions Asked") and they responded the same day that they would replace my rug for some reason reason, even if it were my cats fault (it's pretty amazing).
