Review on 🎡 iTrip Universal FM Transmitter and Charger for MP3 Players by Griffin Electronics by Kev See

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent transmitter for the price but poor functionality

This transmitter will work with almost any audio device that has a 1/8" output jack, whether it's a line out or headphone jack - e.g. MP3 players, portable CD players, digital recorders, etc. The tuner is digital and stores presets. The 9 volt plug includes a USB connection, but it is not a music input like some other transmitters offer, it only works as an adapter, to charge another device via USB (Similar to a separate device that feeds 9 volts into your device and has 1 or 2 USB inputs) While the FM transmitter performance is decent, unlike other models I've used I've looked into and which have terrible signal, there are others that do cost a few more, have a stronger signal and have more features such as an SD card slot and a USB port to connect any Sp storage device to play music, e.g. B. a flash drive. as well as a 1/8" inlet. I've seen transmitters like this want more and this unit is just as good - but I've seen others as I mentioned above with more functionality (SD slot / USB plug etc .) and a stronger signal than plus a digital display with track information (this unit only shows the station you are listening to) $5-$20 more However, this saved me from buying a new car stereo with direct AUX input, but I wish I'd paid a little more for one of the multi-input devices with a full LED screen. Do some comparison shopping and it might be worth spending the extra $10 on something like the one mentioned above. The final word too This little guy is that it does the job if you just need it for a low price and for MP3 playback on a player with a 1/8" output.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Almost never
