The Best There Is - Portable Audio and Video

I admit I don't care about amazing, perfect sound quality, I just want to be able to hear my music and podcasts. I've been using Griffin transmitters for several years and have never had a major problem with them. I just had to buy this new one and was dismayed to find that it turns itself off every minute. It turns on, works for a minute and a half, then turns off. I contacted tech support and got a response within 12 hours (sounds like a short in the power cord. I have a Revain Prime so it's…

Please read the reviews how it works best!

Well if I had just bought this Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter and not read any of the reviews I would be disappointed. Like many others, hold the Preset button until the US flashes, then use the +/- button to toggle to International. Set the station on the unit to 87.9, turn on the radio to 87.9, and then turn it back to US mode, otherwise the station keeps turning off. When I first plugged it in it had super static and sounded awful and I was very frustrated. However, when plugged in and charged

Easy to use but no reception

I bought this product from Revain to use in my 1997 Cavalier to play music from my Walkman E series 8GB flash player. Here is a summary of the results: Pros: Easy to use and works with any player. It has three presets to save the stations you're most successful with. The display is nicely backlit, although it only stays on for a few seconds. The cable/antennas are quite long and may need to be wrapped around the shifter on some vehicles. It's also really cool that it has a USB charger for your…

Decent transmitter for the price but poor functionality

This transmitter will work with almost any audio device that has a 1/8" output jack, whether it's a line out or headphone jack - e.g. MP3 players, portable CD players, digital recorders, etc. The tuner is digital and stores presets. The 9 volt plug includes a USB connection, but it is not a music input like some other transmitters offer, it only works as an adapter, to charge another device via USB (Similar to a separate device that feeds 9 volts into your device and has 1 or 2 USB inputs)…

Great deal on Bluetooth and FM transmitters

Like all FM transmitters, Griffin ITrip allows you to connect any MP3 player to your car stereo. This device supplies power from the 12V socket in your car, saving you battery costs, but otherwise the ITrip works and works just like other FM transmitters. If you don't have an iPod and don't use Griffin devices that plug into the iPod socket, you can only use them in the car (for 12V power supply). Area of the country in which you are traveling. Big cities with lots of interfering radios will…

Disappointed: Portable Audio Video

The Griffin transmitter has a USB port for charging USB devices and is also configurable for international use, allowing the transmitter to transmit on 87.9, which is rare ( if any) frequency used here in the US. Although Soundfly AUX MP3 Player Auto FM Transmitter for SD Cards, USB Sticks, Mp3 Players (iPod, Zune, Sansa) with remote control (which I've had in the past) seemed to have slightly better transmit power - when I switched the Griffin to broadcast mono , it seemed to have about the…
