The Best There Is - Portable Audio and Video

I admit I don't care about amazing, perfect sound quality, I just want to be able to hear my music and podcasts. I've been using Griffin transmitters for several years and have never had a major problem with them. I just had to buy this new one and was dismayed to find that it turns itself off every minute. It turns on, works for a minute and a half, then turns off. I contacted tech support and got a response within 12 hours (sounds like a short in the power cord. I have a Revain Prime so it's ok, it happens - just send it back and buy a new one. Sound quality is good I could hear I didn't hear a ton of interference and I was able to use the same station that I always use and used last year I tried out the international tuning which everyone admires and really found I got really bad reception and interference from 87, 9 had.) . At first I didn't realize I had to turn up the volume on my iPod (I'm used to the older version that connects via USB) and all I could hear was the rumble of my car and the faint sound of music playing in the background . Very strange! But once I found the perfect combination of iPod volume + radio volume, everything was fine. I will continue to use and buy Griffin transmitters until I finally get a unit with a built in iPod connector!
