Review on 3Mirrors Upgraded 2007 2016 Convertible Countryman by Russell Wong

I think you get what you pay for but the product should at least approximate its basic functions. It was a disappointing experience on every level.1. There are so many instructions that they emphasize that they must be read and followed. They weren't in the package. Also, they emphasize that you should make sure you buy what fits your car, which I did. No, they are different lengths than the standard lengths, although all MINIs use the same size dipstick.2. "Use the wrench." WHAT KEY? I have some Phillips and Allen keys and none of them will remove the set screw. When it's so difficult to remove, it's hard to imagine how it could be tightened confidently so it doesn't fall off later. (I'm adding the picture and I was NOT the one to remove it when nothing works. I tried different "keys" very carefully, hoping that they would match when installed, and it never did works.There was a lot of peeling paint around the set screw so the question is if they took the returned item - due to the same issue - and just returned it to another unhappy buyer.I'm really not sure where to get the excess cut off as the indicator itself is MUCH shorter than the stock tip, do I adjust to the ends and miss an opportunity to see if I'm full, or do I adjust the beginning of the indicator and risk not knowing much, go I out? The manufacturer is free to respond to this, but they make it REALLY hard to get to. It's on Revain. This useless product will come back when they're ready to respond n.
