
There are YouTube videos that make this look easy and it's really better to have one for a belt sander than not; However, remember that if you are making longer or larger blades, keep the blade flat to within 1 square foot. One inch at constant speed and light bevel pressure requires more technique than I expected. Also, it scratches the blade. For me and the occasional kitchen knife I sharpen, practice is not enough. Unfortunately I now want to throw away the entire belt sander setup. I got a clear KATS job and love it so much. I hate the stupid method of determining the angle of the port. Wasting my time and money and hurting my feelings.
