I bought this cutter for my daughter in law. She is new to sewing and is primarily interested in quilting. I bought her quite a few quilting supplies including a cutting mat, cutting knife and other items. All of this quilting equipment, including the sewing machine, became very expensive. So I decided to cut a corner and buy her this rotary cutter. BIG MISTAKE! I opened the package to make sure it wouldn't cause her any problems. I'm glad I did because when you squeeze the handle to cut the fabric, the handle doesn't come back and the blade retracts on its own. You have to pull it out manually. Now I can't return it because the "Original" packaging is damaged, in fact it's long gone. I was so angry I just threw the bag in the trash. Then I spent more money on an Olfa rotary cutter, which is the first thing I should have done! In short, don't waste your money on this rotary cutter.
