The device is easy to install. The DVD has been used multiple times, both with standard DVD and BluRay. while it works fine. Connecting WiFi to a secure source was easy. However, the range of applications was limited and could not be expanded beyond those included in the device. Among them were several well-known applications: Netflix, Hulu, etc., as well as several unknown (at least for me) available applications. If anyone really wants to use this device to stream, make sure you only need what's included. Basically, I wanted a DVD player, so that's ok, but you still need a Roku to stream. PS I disabled the wifi connection because it was of no use to me and it was clear in the Sony license agreement that they could control my usage.
