Flexible tool with minimal setup/installation requirements
Easy to set up, flexible to use for multiple locations without duplication of effort or additional equipment costs. Good reporting interface which allows easy access from third party applications like Excel. Greatly benefecial for small remote sites where we can't justify larger software systems but still need robust scheduling and monitoring tools. No obvious downsides at this time. We are looking into more granular options that allow for more scheduling flexibility as well as better visibility into staffing needs and demand across different departments within our organisation. This will enable us to do much closer planning ahead so that there isn’t any last minute scrambling around trying to find staff members who have availability between shifts.
- The ability quickly build schedules with minimal training required is an attractive feature in itself when you don;' t want employees spending hours manually building shift plans every week using excel spreadsheets (and then having them endlessly change their mind about what they really wanted).Shiftmatch has allowed me create far simpler work rosters than I had previously been able too before it's also helpful just knowing how many people were available during certain times each
