Once you understand the controls and setup the radio is fine, the alarms work as required and the general appearance of this click radio is fine. But why is the lowest volume so LOUD? It can't be quiet enough not to wake up neighboring rooms. Sometimes I like listening to late night shows but it's so LOUD. If good clock radios weren't so hard to find, I'd return them and return to my 30-year moodiness that's almost impossible to control. Look at the clock, make sure the radio function is showing, then count down the minutes by pressing the button again. Serious? Who knew it was a good idea for someone who just woke up? Maybe setting it to turn off after bed is okay. But doesn't repetition mean a few more minutes of sleep? No, I would not buy it again. Like an alarm clock, okay. As a radio, the reception is fine, so I bought a new one. But that's not a very good solution. It is so loud.
