This works very well.
I broke off a similar key for an oil filter a few years ago and then forswore it forever. After trying several other types of filter keys with mixed success, I settled on this one. It has worked well on my Toyotas so far. It doesn't have the strongest construction, but it should be enough to get the job done. And the filter doesn't get stuck in the key, so that's a plus.
