Review on CTA Digital ADD MGBSM Magnetic Barcode by David Naranjo

I bought this to attach to a metal armrest/thermal printer mount and to store a Honeywell barcode scanner (driver's license) in my police car . The magnetic back attaches to the printer mount with a decent amount of force, but could be a bit stronger for my purposes. When I installed the scanner in the mount, I couldn't find a position to hold it securely. When the scanner was placed handle down, it was held just 0.25-0.5 inches from the mount. Imagine holding a basketball with just your fingertips, not your whole hand, and that's pretty much it. floor), the scanner does not sit firmly in the holder in any position. The scanner always sat askew because the mount wasn't deep enough in either direction to fully support the grip. I liked the idea and the price of this mount is the best I have looked at but ended up returning the mount for a refund. It may work better with other scanners but I would not recommend it for Honeywell Voyager and similar scanners recommend .
