Thick hair is best kept in a comb
I have VERY thick hair (ie very thick, thick hair). No other combs stick to my hair. I forgot grip. When I grew my hair back I bought several brands of combs that were thrown away until I found them again. They work. My hair is now salt and pepper/silver so I'm buying clear. You are perfect.
