Review on πŸ’‘ Philips Dimmable PAR20 Flood Halogen Bulb by Seth Damain

Glass detachable from lamp

I use a Philips halogen bulb in the kitchen for the track lighting built into the ceiling. One complaint I have is that the glass separates from the light from the lamp. Sometimes it falls and breaks when changing a light bulb. The photo shows how the glue dries and separates the glass from the lamp. Philips production seems cheap. The price of a light bulb is around $20-30 (depending on the seller) for only 4 bulbs that will burn out in less than 4 months. I will look for an alternative as I am not satisfied with the low quality and high price. Not to mention the fragile box these bulbs come in.

Pros
  • SOFT WHITE: Dimmable Philips PAR20 halogen spotlights offer warm and pleasant light with a high color rendering index (CRI). These 2900 Kelvin light bulbs offer a bright, clear color perfect for recessed boxes, track lights and outdoor spotlights.
Cons
  • Negative present
