The replacement slats themselves are as described and are the perfect length as for our longest windows (patio doors and side windows). A clean fresh look that goes well with the new windows/doors with the added bonus that broken old ones are gone and leftover old textured ones can be cut up and reused elsewhere in the home (no replacements found since 1996). But. Wrapping long slats into a large spiral and stuffing them into a small box is NOT ideal. See what can happen to the ends if they aren't pinched properly in the corner. Hoping that over time they will weaken; maybe in winter, hot air from a nearby window will help (if not, then I use a hair dryer). In my opinion a straight bundle should have been secured with plastic wrap and placed in a long narrow box, not a short square, but such a custom sized box can cost more.
