I get it it's USB 2.0 but oh my god this drive is excruciatingly slow! The drive is fine for small files under 1GB, but anything beyond that will cause it to automatically throttle to around 15MB/s. I think there are two things wrong with this product. First, it uses the outdated USB 2.0 technology. And second, I think the memory chip inside is of poor quality, so read and write operations are unbearably slow. The drive may be suitable for a young child with files under 1GB, otherwise stay away. The cuteness of a penguin is SURELY not worth the price.
