So the switch works. The cable clip it has is not based on Toyota clips. So if you're replacing a function switch, you're in for a serious headache. However, if you're just hooking up a switch to control a relay or amplifier, it works great and is a smart setup. I hooked up the ground from the cigarette lighter, crimped the two connectors on the battery and relay leads, connected those pins to the existing Toyota switch harness and I was in business. I don't use the dashlight feature (second red/relay line) because I don't like it, but I tested it and it worked fine too. similar design. If I have to change it due to a bug I might buy it again, not really sure but maybe to avoid the headache of having to use a new/different connector it's worth it.
