Don't waste your money

Overpriced junk! Don't waste money. I have used half price staplers which work much better. Although this stapler is made of durable materials and appears to be of high quality, it does have some major drawbacks. First, he constantly attacks. I struggled with trying to use this for 2-3 hours. This is nothing but anger. When it works, it works well; However, I had to open it up and clear jams every 2-5 minutes. Not a very productive day. I was isolating and my partner easily beat me at 6-1 for just having to reload while I had to keep stopping and fixing the stapler. Second, Rapid boasts that it is designed for intensive use in construction. This may be true as it is thick steel and solid construction. Where I disagree is that there is a fatal flaw in the loading mechanism. It is designed in such a way that the spring-loaded plunger cannot be removed (I suspect this was done to prevent it from bursting like some other brands I've used). The problem is that if you drop it, the piston can detach, but it can't separate from the heavy steel body. In my case the piston was unloaded and the weight of the body caused the piston to flex when it hit the ground. Now the piston doesn't even go back into the body. Luckily this was designed so I didn't have to waste time looking for a spring plunger and getting back to work; Instead, I throw everything away and buy a new one. Definitely not the best compromise. I will never buy a Rapid product again.
