I bought this hammer to lay a drainage shaft in the basement. The house was built in 1938, the sewer in the basement began to clog, so we decided to install a drainage pump. After drilling numerous holes in the 6 inch concrete that went through very quickly, I used a hammer and chisel to break the very hard 83 year old concrete. It took a while, but worked without any problems. My only complaint is that the instructions could have been a bit more detailed, which would have saved some trial and error. Plan to use this tool in many more jobs. I recommend 100%.
