Review on 🍤 Fluker's Canned River Shrimp Treat: The Perfect Delight for Hermit Crabs by Wendell Mitchell

I put 2 canned shrimp in my hermit crab enclosure. My largest crab, Cat Daddy, came over and checked while my other 2 crabs actually escaped to the other side of the tank. I assumed they didn't care about the smell. The shrimp were smelly and dirty. But I'm used to fresh, plump pink shrimp, not canned. So I assumed it should be a smelly and dark gray color based on other reviews. I should have followed my intuition instead of shaking off my uneasiness. After biting off a few bites, Cat Daddy walked over to his bowl of fresh water. I climbed into the shallow end and started drinking, I left it for a day. When I came back 5 hours later he was still sitting dead on the flat end of his freshwater bowl. Can't say for sure it was shrimp and not something else. But luckily my other two crabs stayed away and are still with me. I still miss Kat's father. He was my biggest and most curious and kindest Cancer. We actually got it after my mother-in-law died in August as it was hers so losing it was even harder for us. Please follow your intuition when feeding them to your pet. If you're not sure, don't risk it.
