First of all, I have to say that I'm a veteran musician with both studio and live experience, so I'm a bit picky about the sound. I have studio quality monitors and studio quality headphones by my side as I type this. That said, the Gamin headphones are pretty good and *extremely* good for the price. The headphones sound very similar to others with a better than expected frequency response. The sound quality when connected to a mic/boom mic has also really impressed others and they have commented that my voice is clearer with this product than much more expensive headsets. That being said, am I going to use them to make music? No, I would use them for gaming and as a good option to connect to my phone. They're really good, but when I'm mixing/recording I need extra frequency response and fidelity. In gaming, this should definitely be taken seriously. The price is great and the sound quality is more than enough for everything from COD to Doom, Skyrim to Assassin's Creed, Madden to Fifa. pieces comfortably in your ears. The unit comes with multiple sizes/parts per package and I was fine with the standard parts but I know some people are more sensitive to installation than others. Give them a try, I really don't think you will be disappointed.
