Review on 🔦 Cygolite Dice TL– 50 Lumen Bike Tail Light– Ultimate Safety and Visibility by Anthony Mcgarry

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Tiny powerful flashlight but crappy battery

I originally gave 5 stars but unfortunately less than a month later I downgraded my rating to 1 star as the battery management system seemed to have failed. . It currently takes about an hour to charge, and although the switch turns the light on when pressed, the light won't stay on even after a full charge! This is a sad state, because otherwise I love this light. But this flashlight has become quite expensive and needs to be charged just before use every time. Below is my first positive feedback: less straight into it, and (for a while) holds the charge for 3-4 hours of cycling at relatively high power; They advertise a charge of 1 hour 30 minutes for the strongest flash, but I found it lasted longer initially. I prepared a mount on the back of a bike helmet for daytime use. I notice that cars coming behind me often change lanes or avoid me when I'm on the bike lane. The blinker is powerful enough to be easily seen at 100 yards (or more). The light is controlled by a rubberized switch and the charging port is on the opposite side of the rubberized lantern. The light body weighs very little, so I don't notice it on my helmet. The light comes with a rubber strap that can be wrapped around the seatpost; While this attachment system looks secure, I have not used it. Unfortunately I couldn't find a commercial system to attach a flashlight to my helmet so I had to make one out of scrap rubber and strong glue. The flashlight is so light you could glue it directly to your bike helmet with epoxy.
