Review on Dark Stone Metal Blade 0 025 by Kyle Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tricycle band saw Older Harbor Freight.

I wanted to throw out the saw. After a lot of F-wood with warped blades and wooden handlebars that are too thin. I finished. But I noticed that the rollers on the rails are not adjustable. The blades I had were too thin in rolls. .014 etc. Then I found this. .025 with a width of 1/2 inch, teeth clean rollers and fit snugly both top and bottom. Sufficiently wide cut. By hand the blade does not rotate in the rollers, they hold and hook the blade properly. Bearings cleaned and greased. Just like a brand new bandsaw with the right blade, just like it came from the factory. I'm glad I ordered two in case one turns up. Now I can use my fence and safely push thick tree trunks through. 3/4" birch plywood, 5/8" MDF, no problem. Nice and direct. You don't even have to grind hard. I will still use it to build a table saw. I know it's not right to run the saw at higher speeds now. Must be advertised as for this type of band saw. Like a factory replacement. Your other thin ones are no good. Much cheaper than $43 custom made. Thank you for giving that woodworker straight cuts again. happy customer
