I was skeptical reading some of these screen reviews of this laptop. I was even a bit skeptical about how easy it is to swap out the screen yourself. Spring. I'm on the mend! It took me about 30 minutes to replace the old broken screen I originally had. Removing the old screen took 5 minutes! I have never worked on a laptop and have never worked on a desktop. It was SO EASY! The only advice I would give to DIYers is to make sure you have a steady supply of small screws to screw to your laptop screen. Also remember to label the screws. I would recommend this screen to anyone. It works great and looks like new. If you know computers and a little bit about laptops, you won't spend a fortune on a technician for a screen replacement. just do it yourself
