UPDATE: After some use, the zipper on the SECOND pair broke. These gloves would be great if they could use better/heavier zips. If you buy these gloves you have to expect that the zippers will fail quickly. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was expecting thicker gloves but they do a good job of keeping out the cold. The fleece lining is great. The size is right. I have XL hands and ordered XXL gloves and they are perfectly sized (not many manufacturers even have XXL gloves!). When the temperature is below zero, I wear two layers of fleece inner gloves and the gloves are big enough and don't get too tight. I recommend getting a size up and some fleece liners for maximum protection. One note: the wrist sleeves are quite tight, so don't expect to button them over your jacket sleeves. If you try this you will likely break the zippers. I just wear them open and they work great.
