Le Creuset in the Housewares category

I've had Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware for about 4 years that we use every day for everything. Don't worry Lodge, I have four of your cast iron stoves including a Black Lock roaster and skillet that I would trade for the world. Anyway, two of those years we had a gas range that has since been replaced that was incorrectly installed and set to run on natural gas while we were hooked up to propane. A word to the wise when buying a home with a gas stove. Check this out. This allowed the excess gas to be released without igniting or partially burning, resulting in a gray-black layer of soot on all enamelled cast iron. And since they're painted in blue islands, believe me, it was eye-catching. In any case, no one died from the excess gas sprayed in the house, and everyone stayed here, and this layer could not be removed. Behind the saloon it didn't bother, the whole time was kept clean. I've tried all the nonsense you've read online about dish soap and vinegar, baking soda, magic eraser, blah blah blah. You name it, I've banged it on my pots and pans and it didn't do anything to take the stuff away. If you go far enough down the rabbit hole, someone will surely light a sage tree and sacrifice a goat and claim that's the solution. Long story. The thing worked! So! Think of it like waxing a car. Drop a coin-sized cotton ball onto a microfiber towel, dab around the pot and begin karate jokingly wading the surface. Clean this beautiful thing. Rinse with hot soapy water and you're done! The pot took about 5-10 minutes but IT WORKS! Save yourself all the hassle and just get it. Worth reading this rather than watching online videos of people mixing baking soda with vinegar, rubbing it over a $20 "enamelled" Walmart Mainstay garbage pile, and cleaning it up like they're trying to lime erasable with a magic eraser. The thing is great! Thank you Loge! I would have posted pictures but I've already cleaned them all!
