I was cautiously optimistic about fully polishing the scratches as some of them were quite deep. But it worked beautifully and I am very happy with the results of this product. Depending on the size/deep of the scratches, 2 to 5 applications may be required; it took me 5 times until all scratches were completely sanded away (see before/after photo). Also note that the scratches don't completely disappear when they go through the paint layer.
