This humidifier worked properly for two weeks. Then the fan just stopped. I tested the humidifier on multiple outlets to see if the humidifier was the problem. The most annoying thing is that I really, really liked this humidifier these two weeks. The fan is almost silent. I've used it by my bed at night and by my desk during the day, and even though my studio apartment is over 500 square feet, it did a great job of relieving the stinging breath and itchy skin that bothers me in winter. I have to admit that I live in Maryland. Someone in the colder part of the country might not get the same result. I liked this humidifier so much that I debated asking for a replacement rather than a refund. I emailed the manufacturer to verify a replacement, but the manufacturer never responded. Big mistake Optimus! I returned your item when I could have done otherwise. Now you have a bad rating!
