Review on Fire-Maple Z1 LPG Propane Canister Adapter - Snug Fit, Leak-Free for Coleman Style Propane Bottles by Jermaine Krishnamoorthy

Obviously a larger hole needs to be drilled to work with MRS Pocket Rocket 2, pin on Pocket Rocket is too wide. It works with my fixed fire maple star (jet boil style stove) although the adapter got hot even after boiling 1 cup of water. I know that when using desktop propane stoves, the propane tank gets cold. So the idea of the adapter bolted to it getting heated up worries me. Has anyone else noticed this with a folding stove? I wonder if Fire Maple thinks this is normal?
