Gets the job done, doesn't overheat
My laptop came with a USB-C multipurpose adapter that included Ethernet, a card reader, and a few extra USB ports; I only used it for ethernet but for some reason it got very hot which bothered me. I chose the single function Ethernet adapter and have had good experiences with Anker products in the past. This works fine; I still get good throughput and it only gets a little warm (87 F)
- Lightweight and Compact: The compact and portable design is just over half an inch thick and weighs about the same as an AA battery.
- Questionable purchase for the elderly
