This was purchased to cover broken glass so the iPad can be used safely. The touch is still fully functional, only the glass is cracked. I cleaned the glass according to the instructions and then applied this protective film; There is no longer a risk of cutting your fingers and touch continues to function normally. The film is thick, tough and adheres well. First screen protector I've used and it was surprisingly easy to work with.
