The battery is rather weak. I use it to trim my beard and shape myself and my brothers. After 25-30 minutes of use you will feel an energy boost. I usually keep it by the power cord. The recruitment system works great. I've always had problems with trimmers. Either too short or too long. This works much better. A smaller mustache trimmer which I didn't want at first but came in handy. However, it does not stick to the skin. If you're looking for a trimmer that works like a gray hair salon shaping machine, then this isn't it. In any case, I like the look of the razor. Sharper, clearer lines. But still works fine for me.
