Fun however not sure it is much more than a toy.
I purchased this for our 3 year old grandson in hopes it would help with letter formation. It is difficult to "write' with the magnetic pen attached in a smooth and helpful way. Although he enjoys playing with it, I am not sure the process is actually helping him learn how to write his letters. I wish the pen moved smoothly over the magnets. As an elementary teacher I can see how this could help him understand the direction the pen should move however it is hard to actually practice the process. It has however held up over the last 6 months.
- My toddler love this letter board! Keeps her occupied and happy in the car or at home.
- May not appeal to children who are not interested in the alphabet.
