Daughter loves this. The only thing I have found is that there are couple of the bearings that fall back down pretty easily, and the "pen” is hard for little ones to get out and put away. I like that it stays in place well.

I got a replacement letterBoard because the first board stopped working well after a couple of weeks. The replacement was worse. Some magnetic balls don’t even go all the way down or stay up. Very disappointed

I love the idea of the product. The only downside is that when writing letters the magnet balls that are close to the writing line such as Capital A the horizontal line also pulls up with the magnet pen when writing the diagonal lines.

I love this toy and was excited to get it. I’m a Early Invention Teacher. But This toy didn’t last 3 weeks. 2 balls have fallen out already. I still use it for recognition of letters but sad it’s not that durable

Kids play with this every time they come over.Not for long but they do enjoy it.However a few of the letters the little magnet pieces dont stay up into place.It is kind of frustrating to the kids when they cant get them to stay in place.It does teach them how to draw the letters.We have fun with it.

I purchased this for our 3 year old grandson in hopes it would help with letter formation. It is difficult to "write' with the magnetic pen attached in a smooth and helpful way. Although he enjoys playing with it, I am not sure the process is actually helping him learn how to write his letters. I wish the pen moved smoothly over the magnets. This is a nice toy and learning tool for both my kids, 2 years old and 4 years old. My older kid has been practicing writing her letters, while myb2 year old is just working on her pencil gripping skills and hand-eye coordination. It’s a nice durable product.

Absolutely love this and so does my son! He is almost 3 and loves to use this board. We go over sounds and each letter and it’s so fun to help practice writing the letters. He just mainly plays with it right now since he isn’t good at holding a pencil but he gets better and better each time. Really love this and am getting it for my best friends son for his birthday as well.

Gifted these to 2 toddlers and they loved it. It got them to feel the letter shapes bc they had to push down on the magnets to reset the board once they finished writing them. Highly recommend for gifting!

My 4yr really enjoys this! (My 11yr old too!) It makes letter tracing fun. I had to work with him on the direction to write but it’s good to use together.

This is a very fun way to get my kids excited about learning their letters. LeapFrog's Mr. Pencil is more effective at teaching my kids to write the letters correctly, but this toy is a good supplement to that one. My biggest critique of this toy is that the magnet pencil should be tied to the letter pad so that they don't get separated. Without the magnet pencil, the toy will become useless.
