My husband and I use them on the sides of the dressers in our room to store perfume, toiletries, cosmetics, glasses etc and love them for it Purpose it puts our furniture away so we can dust and tidy it up more easily in the morning without fear of things falling apart and still being out of the reach of little hands. I was planning on using one of these in the shower but am a bit skeptical about tape as we have tile in the shower. For some reason when I ordered these I thought that these are separate adhesive hooks that needed to be glued separately. It's actually a small "plate" of tape that runs the full length and height of the basket, with plastic hooks at fixed points on that plate. It's stiff enough that it doesn't feel like it's squeezing into the grout in the tile, allowing water to seep underneath and eventually mold to form. Of course this is all speculation, I haven't tried it yet so I'll report back when I do. One or two additional adhesive plates are included in the scope of delivery. If you have this problem, feel free to reuse them elsewhere as we did. And I suppose you could certainly bring an X-Acto knife or box cutter to cut off the individual plastic hooks, I don't know if that would be enough to pick up a few bottles of shampoo. I decided not to bother and bought one of those organizers that hang from the shower head.
