Shutdown issue solved
Have been having a problem with my 14 Cx5 GT for a while. When parked and hitting the engine off button, it wouldn't turn off. A slight wiggle of the shifter turned it off. Visit the forum to find this common problem due to wear on the sensor's original rubber tip. The new sensor doesn't have the same rubber tip (I think Mazda figured that out). Basically 4 screws to move the console (slid back, not removed), 2 screws for the sensor, and everything worked like new. The whole process took me about 30 minutes.
