Review on 🎒 Durable Lightweight Binocular Bag Case with Harness - Portable Chest Pack Bag for Hiking, Hunting by Brittany Turner

I really like the idea of this binocular case but in practice it wasn't all I wanted until I made a few modifications. The bag itself (barely) fit my 10x42 binoculars and was nicely padded, but a simple very thin elastic cord and hook was used to close the bag and I didn't like that. It was thin. So I replaced this by sewing a plastic clip on the front (I bought the clip for another project so I had it handy). The other thing that was odd and needed changing was that the straps that went around my waist were sewn on. Ribbons. I have no idea why there were loops as the straps had to be threaded through the clips attached to the bottom of the case. So I had to rip out the stitching holding the loops together so I could thread the straps through the clips. I have no idea what the loops were for. After making these changes I found that the rig worked but wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped due to the lack of elastic in the straps. So it doesn't stretch. It's fine as it keeps the sleeve on your chest, but it could be more comfortable if the straps were elastic. This brings me to the last change I had to make. The straps that connect to my binoculars to hold them up in case I should drop them are quite short. So I removed them and replaced them with longer, more elastic straps to make it easier for me to lift the binoculars to my eyes without straining the original short straps. In general, the idea is great, but there were some flaws in its implementation. . I corrected imperfections fairly easily with items I had on hand in my craft stash, but I deducted two stars because I had to get the job done before the case was better suited to me. Sure I could do with a flimsy hinge to keep the case closed, but I wanted something more secure and secure.
