The product is described as one piece but actually consists of three pieces. The base of the seat and the back of the seat are connected by two elastic bands. The headrest cover is the third detail. Connected to the base and seat back, this assembly looks very nice and high quality. However, the seatback has built-in lumbar support, which is a bit inconvenient. For this reason I have separated the seat back and seat. When I did this, I found that the seat bottom moved slightly when getting in and out of my car. I'll probably have to reattach the base and back to keep the assembly "staying in place" and learn to live with the lumbar support. This product looks very nice and appears to be of very good quality.
