Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.
One of my favorite lenses, most of the time was on the camera. Made a lot of good shots on it. Well, something as an application. It is worth bearing in mind that it is quite weighty, but feels good in the hand.
Pros
- - Beautiful "drawing" - Quick focus - Comfortable range of FR with saving from the aperture value - Pretty sharp (more than enough for photos of different genres) - Well assembled
Cons
- - A controversial disadvantage, which at the same time is an advantage. The lens has distortion. On the one hand, it seems to be a drawback (but it can be easily corrected in the editor), on the other hand, the same distortions make the picture interesting - In the new conditions, a very controversial price tag, provided there is no stabilizer - "Screwdriver", which in turn does not allow you to save the glass when ating the carcass to the version without a screwdriver.

What was especially striking was the clarity of work in dim lighting without a flash, more specifically - with one 35-watt LDS, and shooting hand-held - well, I really liked it. In general, a good all-rounder, it is not clear why it is called a zoom)

Great lens. To the previous author of the review: on the MTF charts it is indicated for an open aperture, on the covered aperture everything is in order with sharpness. On the D800E, it resolves perfectly.
