This is a very well designed and built tablet holder. I use it with a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.7" with a silicone case and it fits well in the holder. The claws have a strong feel and grip the tablet tightly. There is a tension screw used to loosen and rotate the tablet/ Phone alignment is used I have read some reviews that said the ball joint neck was broken I have to think this may have been partial user error can separate the base and arm from the claw assembly Put this tablet around for hours without noticeable movement to a fixed position.If for some reason the hinge arm becomes loose the kit comes with an Allen key and some very simple graphic guidelines to help you tighten the connections and the base.The base has some weight and will hold the tablet .from capsizing.If this product has potential weak points, they are most likely located in the ball gel's neck post nks. If the ball is not relieved before the tablet/phone is rotated, all of the stress will be placed on the ball neck. Also, joints can become loose over time, but this is very easy to correct if necessary.
