In brief: Pros: -Small and portable -Has ports you will most likely always use at certain times -Affordable price Cons: -Output power is up 55W limited goes further. Performance issue: I mainly use this for my 2019 16" Macbook, which puts out variable power as needed, but maxes out at 96/100W. This hub seems to be limited to 55W, so don't expect fast charging! To be honest, many other brands seem to be affected by this issue Monitor Issue: This issue appeared about a month after the product was released. Plug the hub into power (via USB-C) and if the planets line up correctly you might see an image, and who knows since when that's been happening. This doesn't happen with any other hub I own. To be honest I just don't use it for HDMI at the moment. I have two other hubs and this is by far the most problematic of them all. Update: It seems that after 2 months the device has gotten even worse, now charging is on and off and HDMI doesn't work at all. Only the USB-A port works, which is the only constant that offers permanent destruction. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. When I contacted the seller I was immediately offered a refund, I didn't even try to replace the unit.
