Works great on my Macbook Pro and Samsung monitor. .

Works great on my Macbook Pro and my Samsung monitor. The thickness around the plug is slightly thicker than the apple. So when you have a sleeve on your MacBook, sometimes it doesn't quite fit when your laptop is closed. However, this is really not a problem for me as I never close my laptop and use the monitor at the same time.
