I've read a lot of reviews about these capsules not dissolving completely. As a result, bits of plastic or other odd debris stick to their clothes. That is clear. I'm a bit of a laundry addict so I always add some water and detergent and stir before putting the clothes on as I don't want the detergent to remain on the clothes. I keep a whisk near the washing machine and always whisk the pods with a little water before making sure they're fully dissolved. They work great with this method. I will say that my sons find it a bit harder to do their own laundry because they often aren't patient enough to wait for the pods to dissolve. Other than that, this is my fourth or fifth order now and I have no plans to switch to anything else. The low environmental impact and convenient home delivery make them totally beneficial to me. Oh, and the box is a bit fiddly to use, so we put ours in a screw-top container for easy access.
