Bought to replace eSATA in another manufacturer's car that stopped working after macOS 10.12. The great thing about the NewerTech card is that it doesn't require drivers, so it should work with future macOS updates. Even better, since no drivers are required, this card can be used to connect a boot drive. This is great for testing new software, verifying backup drives, and disaster recovery. Good product.
