I originally had a question and contacted GPG support to see if the small clear plastic square was still there and was told to leave it. I immediately noticed some print quality issues, but this did not become a determining factor for me, although the family complained. It wasn't until we had to print out an educational material for our 4 year old based on objects and colors that I knew it wasn't going to work. I contacted GPG support again and this time I was told to remove the clear plastic square and run 2 cleaning cycles. I ended up having to run about 6 pieces, but I was able to print normally in the end. At this point I had used about 20% of the ink. It's still a great value compared to $80 HP OEM versus $20. I'll look elsewhere next time, but I'll still give this article an overall rating of 4 because it worked as expected and was very helpful.
