HP printer rejected a cartridge on the first try. I cleaned the contacts, made sure the plastic cover was removed from the printhead and everything worked. Removing the plastic film from the printhead was not easy.

I had problems with the first set but the replacement set worked. All I had to do was acknowledge that this was not a genuine HP product and my printer worked perfectly. There also seems to be a lot more ink in these cartridges.

I used them for a month before writing a review so I could honestly test them and make sure they were quality carts. As described, they worked perfectly. With the added bonus of the XL size, I haven't noticed much ink rubbing in the past few weeks of use. I will order more if needed.

I've tried generics before with no success. I have since learned that you need to make changes to the work settings. After finally figuring out how to do this, I found that the cartridges would work perfectly, with HP's comment that they weren't genuine! These work fine! $90 compared to $19, I thought it was worth it. Happy with the result.

Definitely not XL ink. I had several prints after cleaning the printhead, reconfiguring and then getting a status report and was already told I needed new ink. Then I went to the reviews and saw it get into someone's printer and ruin it. I've had this printer too long and it's too good to risk. This was my first and last time buying cheap ink. I'm sorry, but it's not worth it to me.

These are the second 'universal' cartridges I've bought from Revain and they don't work either! Of course I go to print - again - and they print color but no black ink. This is the card I wanted to see before ordering - I had to order without a print option to receive my savings on Cyber Monday. The ink cartridges arrived on time. I have used several other remanufacturing vendors and the red ink cartridges were not recognized. I had an indication that the printer's red contactor might be damaged. Then I saw this competing seller and ordered a set of their cartridges before throwing the printer away and trying again. I installed new cartridges and as a new printer everything worked fine as I did a color test on the printer. I have just ordered two more sets for future use as the colors…

These cartridges were not compatible with the printer. When the installation is complete. The printer has detected that the cartridge is not an HP cartridge. I just click OK and the printer works with no problems. The print color is the same as the HP cartridge. These are good cartridges and very good for the money. I am surprised that there is no tape that can be removed or pulled off the print head like another cartridge does during installation. But then it still works. My printer is old and
