These are the third bags (one for me, one for my boyfriend and one in case someone swims with us) I've bought and they work great. The 5 liter bag is perfect for sunscreen, cigarettes, keys, ID, cell phone and towel. I put a towel in the top of the bag so when I open it I can try my hands to see if they are wet so water doesn't get into the bag. I took this bag on a 6 hour rafting trip and it has been submerged several times and everything stayed dry. I suggest folding the bag 3-4 times to make sure water doesn't get in. If you want to pack more in your bag I recommend buying a 10 liter bag, but the 5 liter bag is only good for the essentials. The free phone case that came with my bag works great too. My phone stayed dry and I was able to snap a photo of the river boat I took it on.
