This was my first time installing component cables so I was a bit confused when I plugged everything in and when I turned on the PS2 there was no image on the screen. You will notice two red connectors; one is part of video output and the other part of audio output. One of the red connectors has a wire clip that connects it to the white connector. This red connector is the audio connector. Not knowing this, I spent ten minutes wondering why there was nothing on the screen even though my PS2 was on. Now that everything is working I have no problems. The sound is excellent, the picture is quite bright for such an old set top box.
