It works, but unfortunately has very thin wiring. OEM or other better shielded cables are probably even better. I was surprised to see that this cable suffers from significantly less noise compared to the generic component cables I received from GameStop. Works great on PS2, just be careful not to mix up the red cables. I took it out of the box and tried it, I had normal tone but a washed out, discolored image. This was my first time installing component cables so I was a bit confused when I plugged everything in and when I turned on the PS2 there was no image on the screen. You will notice two red connectors; one is part of video output and the other part of audio output. One of the red connectors has a wire clip that connects it to the white connector.
