It works, but unfortunately has very thin wiring. OEM or other better shielded cables are probably even better. I was surprised to see that this cable suffers from significantly less noise compared to the generic component cables I received from GameStop. In particular, I've seen much less artifacting when you see halos to the right of white text. It still shows up from time to time, but much less frequently than universal component cables. However, great value for money.
